Introducing the New CyberCAST Security Program Maturity Software

We recently announced the release of our new CyberCAST software, ushering in a new era in business information security systems. The new CyberCAST software is designed to enhance our managed services, but can also be a stand-alone option.

CyberCAST is a complete cybersecurity solution with many layers. Designed to enhance the benefits of our managed security services, or act as a stand-alone service, CyberCAST combines technical penetration testing with a detailed security assessment, enabling deep insights into your company’s risk environment and providing you with a solid basis for a dynamic cybersecurity strategy.

The dynamic nature of CyberCAST is what makes it stand out from other cybersecurity solutions. It not only identifies risk and gives you the tools to manage it, but it also offers clear direction on areas that need improvement and then tracks your progress toward those goals over time, reassessing risk periodically to establish new targets.

Why CyberCAST?

Today’s threat environment is a significant concern for businesses of all sizes in every industry. Business leaders know that cybercrime is the biggest threat to continuity in 2022, and investors echo that sentiment. With the increasing sophistication of cyber threats and the cost of a breach growing with each passing month, there is no room for error. Organizations must protect their systems and do whatever they can to stay ahead of the curve to minimize the potential for loss.

To better illustrate some of the key concerns, here are some recent data points to consider, taken from IBMs Cost of a Data Breach Report 2022:

  • 45% of breaches are cloud-based
  • 19% of breaches happen because of a compromised business partner
  • The average cost of a data breach in 2022 is $4.35 million, a 2.6% increase over last year
  • The cost of a breach has risen 12.7% since 2020
  • The average cost of a breach in the United States is the highest in the world at $9.44 million
  • 83% of companies have experienced multiple breaches
  • It takes approximately 277 days to identify and contain a breach

Cyberattacks are becoming more destructive, too, targeting critical infrastructure, supply chains, and taking advantage of the current remote work trend. But as concerning as these statistics may be, there is good news.

The report also found that companies with fully deployed AI and automation-driven cybersecurity solutions could reduce their costs by 65.2%, providing a solid basis for action.

Of course, no breach is always the goal; but the best protection is awareness, knowledge, and continuous improvement toward the goal—and that’s the CyberCAST advantage.

The Human Factor Makes the Difference

No matter how great your cybersecurity software is, it’s only as good as the people behind it. At Zyston, we are constantly improving the way we approach information security and managed security services, ensuring our customers always have the tools and support they need to move forward and grow their businesses with confidence.

The bottom line? Cybersecurity is as critical to your business as your health is to you, personally. If you don’t know your risks, you can’t take decisive action, but it’s within your power to act.
