DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zyston, a strategic information security advisory firm, today announced the hiring of Mark Coltharp as vice president of business development. In this role, Coltharp will utilize his unique skillset combining an engineering aptitude, along with leadership in business development, to increase Zyston’s market share and support the transformation of customers’ information security programs.

Coltharp’s extensive career spans nearly three decades and a wide range of experiences in global technology, executive leadership and complex strategic sales. Most recently, he served as a senior client director at Optiv Security where he was named among the organization’s leading sales performers. In this role, Coltharp facilitated strong customer partnerships with senior information security executives at Fortune 500 organizations to build, run and operationalize security programs.
Prior to this, Coltharp served in leadership positions at Terra Telecom / Aeon Technologies, E-Rev Technologies and OMI International Inc. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems and quantitative science from the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business.
